Was I wrong about the tech scene in the North?

In Announcements on July 17, 2009 at 7:31 pm

I’m looking for the hottest internet start-ups in the North East.

While I won’t have time to get around to everyone, I’ll be at the Codeworks party on Thursday night, so hopefully I’ll be able to say hi to as many people as possible there. (I’ll be the one in the corner, surrounded by bodyguards, looking sheepish.)

I’ll also be at The Forth pub from 12noon to 3pm on Thursday.

Time for a little break

In Announcements on June 23, 2009 at 2:21 pm

Starting this week, I’ll be taking a short break from writing and from most of the technology community. The Telegraph and I have parted company and I won’t be accepting any freelance commissions for a little while.

If you’ve written to me via my Telegraph account in the last ten days, it’s unlikely that I’ll have read your message (and I won’t now be able to retrieve it). So please re-send anything important to milo@yiannopoulos.net or leave a message for me on +44 (0) 7508 000 008.
